Hey guys> After a year of owning my truck, I finnaly put a 3in ome lift kit on my truck. Had a mod day at this guys johns house and had 10 tacoma guys help me install it. I didnt put the top spacer plates in for the fulll 3 in so i only have 2.5 in front but have the 2in aal in back. I also went with light racing ucas and they work great. I love em. Looks looks sick right now. Pics makes it look smaller but in real person view its big lol. I still have my 265/76/16 tires and they look small. I need to go to 275s real soon. Here are the pics guys. Any who wants this kit please get it. It rides so smooth. Like butter. Its amazing. Not stiff or anything.

    Looks good Miguel.
I put the 885s & Dakars on mine and love it. Great ride on & off road.
The 265/75/16s look good with it.
If you think your 265/75/16s look small you should see mine in commuting mode with 245/75/16s, mine only looks good when I go wheeling and put the 255/85/16 BFG KM2s on.

LOL, i am just going to wait till the warantee is up. I paid for it so im going to use it. If i get the lift, and with my luck something happens, they'll void it. In time i guess. But with posts like yours it makes it very hard to wait. Thanks alot:rolleyes:
Again, really nice. Glad to hear that there is no vibes or anything. Kinda worried about that.

Nice job! OME is the best bang for ur buck for sure. I don't think they make 275/75/16 though - I could be wrong. U may have to go 285 but do some trimming. Or u could just stick with the 265s especially if it's ur DD.

Yeah. I really want some 285s but its my dd and I drive 22,000 a year so my mpg would suck ass with the 285s They make s 275.70/16 so I might just go with that one. I need some nicer black wheels now. The black steels arent doing it for me lol. Some nice wheels and tires and im all set.

Nice to hear more positive things about he OME lift. Nice truck too.

I have been looking at lift options and the threat of ruining parts and having more headaches have left me not wanting to go with a spacer lift. I rather do it right the first time.

I do have a few questions though.

Did you change out the leafs per the TSB before hand? I have not as the dealership didn't want to do it when I inquired about it. If you haven't, did you have to switch them out on your own to make this lift work (did the kit come with it?) or did you just leave it stock?

Did the kit come with everything to would need to do the install, or did you have to get additional parts?

Did you mess with the brake lines at all? As in extending them?

How long did it take to install?

I apologize if some of these questions seem retarded, but I simply have no one to ask and I just don't know. Thanks in advance, and nice truck, once again.
