Hell yeah I see someones working on there wraith. :D I love there controller to mine said it took 8 AA batteries. But when I opened it up it came with the same controller as the wraith and only takes 4 AA. Needless to say I was stoked.

That's the older model, too. Rare to find them still for sale, at least around here.

I love my Honcho - getting ready to install the MIP shafts, Robinson Racing steel gears and some 2.2s.

I got the Airtronics Mt4. I was putting the receiver into it. :)

I just recently put the battery up front and threw the electronics in the back.

Yeah I was confused about the battery issue too! I was like WTF where do the other 4 battery's go

Yeah they are. I was surprised when I got mine how well it crawled and went up shit. Then after I drilled and weighted the wheels it did even better. I was able to buy a Toyota sticker kit to. And an accessory kit. Ax, highlift and igloo 5 gallon water cooler. (scale size) I saw they make steel bumpers to adapt small winches to aswell. I loled at that pretty good.

Hey guys! I am new to this thread but have been on the tacoma forum for a while.

I just got back from a deployment and decided to get my Traxas Revo 3.3 back up and running again. It has been sitting for over a year. After a few hours of messing with it I finally got it running again.

There is just one problem I am hoping you guys could help me with. Some times the throttle/brake stops working during the middle of operation and makes for a runaway car. But the steering always works.

I think it is a problem with the radio and receiver. The servo seems strong and I can't ever replicated the failure while I am watching it closely. This sometimes occurs at distances of 10 feet or less away from the transmitter, so it is not a range problem.

I have tried unpluging and cleaning connections. I have also tried resetting the opi-drive.

Do you guys have any ideas on what else I can try to fix this?

As simple as it sounds, make sure all batteries are fresh and then rebind the receiver and transmitter.

Those would be my first two suggestions.

I race up here at hot rod hobbies and have seen some similar problems. You said the servo is strong? Does that mean stronger than usual? Often times the servo drawing a lot of power can make the receiver do weird things like that. Also the new brushless/esc can cause this as well because they pull a lot of power from the esc. I had a spektrum dx2s radio and receiver and my 4x4 scrt10 would do some weird stuff. I got a novak glitch buster and it helped it a little but ended up switching to an Airtronics M11x and have not had a single issue since. You can try moving the antenna as far away as possible from everything. Just some ideas

Pardon my ignorance, but what does it mean to rebind the receiver and transmitter. How would I do that? And the batteries in the transmitter are fresh and has a full charge on the 5 cell receiver pack.

DirtJumper14, I have the nitro 3.3 revo. I think you are referring to the electric model. But when I say it is strong I mean that it is strong as in normal. The servo works like normal when it is working, but it quits working sometimes and I think it is because it is not receiving my inputs from the radio. I just don't know why it's not receiving.
