lol nope and he was asking for a shit storm starting it . but everyone doesnt have tons of cash for fox shocks and uca's and or even some of the cheaper parts. a spacer lift is what he has , he's driving a Tacoma and happy with it , why beat him up over it, at the end of the day were all here for the same reason ... we love out trucks .

I just ditched a spacer lift for a full OME lift. Do it right the first time.

Right now, it gave me about 3.5"! It's only been a few days though so I'm sure it'll settle. I also plan on putting a bumper on at some point so that'll bring it down some too.

    I do too. :)

I wheeled it for the first time today with the new shocks and coils on and I am highly impressed!

I heard someone describe it as "old school". I liked it even more after that comment. :p

I have 2005 tacoma that I bought with 160,000 and an older man had it. He ran a spacer lift up front and ALL in the rear and drove almost all highway miles and it didnt break any shocks but it did wear out the sway bar links, lower ball joints and lower control arm bushings!! And I live in AZ where it doesnt snow and hardly ever rains.. Spacers will cost later if you dont spend the $ now. Your stock suspension is not made to handle bigger tires

    Thread resuscitation...

Sooo...if I decided to go with a spacer lift, much to the chagrin of many here, it would be wise to upgrade to Billstein 5100's in the front and rear?
