Hey guys, I'm expecting my OME kit to arrive this next week. I'm located in OC. Where are some good places to get it installed? Also, what price range should I be looking for?

A friend of a friend works for an offroad shop and said he would install it for $450, not including alignment. Is this reasonable? High or low?

I don't have the mechanical know-how or the tools to try and do this myself.

    Here's what I got:

    -885's with shocks pre-assembled
    -top-plate spacers
    -LR UCA's
    -trim packer
    -tsb aal
    -rear OME shocks
    -carrier bearing drop kit

I bet you could get some help down there for the price of Beer & Pizza. Lots of SoCalers know how & have the tools.

On the 2nd gens you dont have to press out the ball joints that is why it tooks us forever. I bet it would take you a little bit of time if you had to press you own balls joint to. We are not all badass like you ... not.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. So I just got a call from metaltech and looks like they will be shipping my UCA's by tomorrow. I'm not sure if they'll be here by this weekend. Plus, it's supposed to rain this weekend.

So, if anybody is indeed down to help me and show me the ropes, I'm thinking a week from this saturday would work better.

Let me know what you think

I do not have the tools... Or any idea how to do the install... But am ready to learn rather than drop it off at a shop. Of course, only if someone is willing to do it. I don't want to place an unwanted burden on anyone
