First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    ATTENTION CAMPERS

STATUS UPDATE: Well it sounds like there will be quite a few folks coming down for Saturday night and/or Friday night to camp. That's awesome and I really look forward to meeting you all.

LOOK for the growing gaggle of Tacoma trucks along Derrick Rd. I don't know how many they allow per site?? But you can probably just crash someones site for a spot - no worries.

We (my wife and dog and I) are going to now camp out there both nights - Friday and Saturday. So we'll get a decent BASE CAMP set up along Derrick Rd. I've got some big tarps we can string up in the trees for rain coverage.

ATTENTION: People with just a simple sleeping bag and some food can join us. You don't have to be "G.I. Joe Camper" to enjoy a night at the coast with your TW crew. We've got your back. Just bring your truck (or ride along with someone, sounds like there is a lot of that going on) and we'll wheel our trucks all day and have great camp fire conversation and adult beverages at night.

I think I heard someone might be bringing a keg? I'm bringing a grill and camp stove and pots and stuff. And I'm sure lots of folks will have coolers. So just grab a bag of food at the grocery store and come on down - join the fun.

SUMMARY: I hear a lot of folks saying they'd like to camp but don't have the gear or time or money. Geez! This is NOT a polar expedition folks. Grab a blanket and some jo-jo sticks and get down here.

See you all in a few weeks. CHEERS !!!

My old lady will be there too and we will be camping on saturday night for sure. I might do a test run down there sunday to see where the camping would be best and maybe find a group site. More to follow on that.

If anyone needs an extra tent I have at least one spare five person. We camp monthly and have plenty of spare crap if anyone is short on gear.

If someone has a BBQ they want to bring I'm a rather good cook and will supply a good amount of short ribs for sat night if anyone is interested.
