Hey guys, figured I would start one of these since I've been here a while, just to keep track of my progress.

Haven't done too much to her, but slowly things keep getting added.:D

    March 2006:

I found my tacoma at a local dealer. 72,000 miles...I was in love.:) I was just out of high school and going to college in Phoenix, AZ and wanted something super reliable and this is what I got.

    Summer 2006:
I found TTORA and being from Iowa, never got to go to any Tacoma meets, let alone see any other Toyotas around. Well now that I was in AZ, I went to a few meets and took her on some trails and loved it! Even though it's a prerunner with no locker I still had some fun.

    Lake Pleasant..

    2008:
I started hanging around CustomTacos and started buying a few exterior pieces. Here it is with clear corners..

    Then I got a TomTom..

Well my truck stayed that way for a while. Then one day I noticed a large dent in the front of my hood. I'm sure someone was drunk and either punched it or threw a rock at it. Either way, I didn't have the money to fix it. So I searched online and found a little hood bra to cover it up.

    Voila!

It's not everyones taste, but I kinda like it so I kept it. :p

Well after I graduated MMI, I got a job offer back home at a Honda Dealership. After a few months there I thought I would treat myself to some new wheels and tires.

A few weeks later I had my KMC enduros with Nitto Terra Grappler 265/75/16's installed.:D

    March 2009 to present...

Here it is on a little trail...

Well, that's all I got now.

I just ordered a 3 inch spacer lift for the front. I'll order some spidertrax spacers later as well for when I install my 285's later this year/ next year.

I've put well over 50,000 miles on this truck and it hasn't skipped a beat. I plan on keeping it for a very long time even though the winters here aren't very fun with it.

Maybe someday I'll get a locker too...we'll see.

Thanks for looking! I'll add some more pics later.

Lazy Monday...Changed the oil today...also painted my skidplate from rust back to black.

Considering painting it silver once my lift is installed...which should be showing up sometime today or tomorrow!:D

Then I was going to paint my brake drums and front hubs to cover up the rust...but I forgot to bring home the right impact

    Thanks for the kind words.:)

I rub at full lock on the wells but nothing major. The spacer lift should take care of that though.

i might sound like a noob but the spacer lift just sits on top of the coils correct?

    Right.

Just unbolt the coils and put em' on top of the coil and reinstall with the hardware.

I've never installed one, but it looks pretty simple.

I'll have a bunch of pics and mini write-up when I get around to putting them on to give you a clearer idea of how they go on.

yeah that's another thing, gas. Idk how much it is in Iowa but here in South Carolina its inching its way up fast and since i'm still in school, i can't afford to drive to class everyday. If a good deal comes up on a 250 of any nature, then i'll get it

No spring compressor needed...the hardest part was getting the upper control arm separated from the spindle.

Oh...and having the right tools help haha.

Well my leafs are fucked...shocks are junk...so my plans for the rear are scaring my wallet.

But id like to get a 1" aal and a set of billies. I don't know if putting the aal on these shot leafs are even worth it tho.

And no complaints about my headlights yet so no adjustment has been made :)
