my guess is that even your civic, with the kind of route you have there, would average less than 25 mpg.

So I had finished my egg under my foot tank. I got 479.1(40-50 km's more than usual) km's on the tank. I filled up with 67.03 L of gas. It puts my L/100 is at 14.0. I haven't gotten that since my first fill up when I got the truck(Sept 11'), before I got the tonneau cover.

My new 2011 Taco double cab 4X4 SR5 just got an even 20 mpg driving mostly in town between 40 & 60 mph with hitting the green lights fairly consistently for 100 miles. :):):):)

My 99' used to pull around 20mpg.. My new '12 maybe 18mpg.. It is an automatic with aftermarket tires... Get these beasts over 80mph and you'll really see these numbers drop.

My catalytic converter or O2 sensor is being wonky, so I don't trust what my MPG would be right now.

I've been getting 2 and a half weeks on 2/3s of a tank.

I've got a one month old 4X4 access cab, 4cyl. manual. I've gone through two tanks of gas so far. Mileage has been between 21.5-22.5 mpg of mixed highway/city driving. I'm pretty happy so far.

Figured I'd chime in since I just filled up today. This past tank was the first time I've been able to achieve 20.0 MPG, according to fuelly. I have a 2011, DC Off Road short bed with 6035 miles, purchased at the beginning of October 2011 with no test drive miles except for mine.

Just a couple notes..I'm now running Mobil1 oil, and I've been using 93, 93, and then 89 octane for the prior week fill ups. For this week I'm running 93 again, but I'll revert to 87 for the next tank to see what happens. Temperature ranges from 30-60 F this past week, and I'm beginning to think the spring/summer gas is becoming delivered. I have yet to balance the tire pressures like your supposed to the temperature changes.

Should also note that I went to a friend's house 30 miles away to cut up wood and fill the back of the bed up with a full load to the top of the bed...and his area has a good amount of stoplight driving. So driving back with a few hundred pounds of wood, which I could feel in the back, didn't have much negative affect on mileage.

Other than that, I drove rather conservatively, just letting the truck cruise and keeping the RPMs as close to 2k as possible...but occasionally accelerating harder than necessary to get past certain traffic or vehicle obstacles or annoyances on the road.

I get 20mpg on 32x11.50s. My truck has a baby lift, intake, and a header. I was getting 18ish and after the seafoam treatment this tank was 20mpg. That's shifting at 2500 rpm.

    New February 11, 2012---- 2011 Tacoma SR5 Double Cab 4X4 V6 Short Bed:

I just went 190.5 miles (half city & half highway @ 60 mph ) on 9.46 gallons. Topped off both times at same pump so the 9.46 gallons was very accurate.

Got 20.13 mpg. Should get better when just interstate trip.

~23 mpg with a 4cyl auto dcsb prerunner.

Mostly highway and smaller country roads. I dont catch the morning and evening traffic also.

I've found that I'm not in as much of a hurry since getting the truck...

Edit: I've had a low of 19 and a high of 25, trending up around 24.

I have a 2010 dbl cab short bed TRD OR 4x4, ATO rear bumper, relentless aluminum front, complete OME, 33 BFG ats and managed to get 18.6 mpg on a 260 mile road trip going 65 mph most of the way!

compared to my usual 16.4 mpg.

I'm guessing the clean MAF was to thank for, a buddy cleaned it for me while also changing the spark plugs. The MAF sensor was caked in grime! Haha

after the cleaning and spark plug change the truck seems to idle more quietely than before too.
