They should fit, but you may need to do a little bit of fender trimming

Not sure but I think with wheel spacers they will fit without trimming?

I have a 3 inch lift, with and AAL. I have 285/75/16s and they are M/Ts. I have a little rubbing, and I already trimmed some.

I dont think so. But you could be right. I had to trim to make room for my tires and I cant see how a spacer would help with the rubbing. The trimming isnt that bad it trims up easy since most of it is thin plastic. You cant really even notice unless you look real hard. Its worth the trim that size tire looks great on a taco IMO. Good luck and post truck porn pics when they are on.

I need to store this so I can copy and paste when needed... :)

285/75s on stock probably won't fit with 2.5" lift. I have 285s on stock rims with a 3" lift. Without spacers, you'll rub the UCAs. Spacers will fix that. Once you get the spacers, then you'll have some minor trimming of the fender, but it's easy.

However, this is all with a 3" lift. 2.5" and you might be rubbing the body mounts and would require some significant trimming of the fender after the wheel spacers.

HAha thats the truth. I appreciate the help though. You helped me decide to go ahead and go with the 285's.

Sorry 'bout that... Around here we generally refer to 95.5-04 as 1st gens and '05+ as 2nd gens. There's considerable debate around the topic and honestly, I don't really care what you call it. I just follow the crowd on this one.

So, to correct my above statement:

your ganna need wheel spacers or new wheels. I ran my stock wheels for awhile with a 3" lift, and they rubbed on the frame and the UCA. and the fender/bumper.

By a little bit of trimming what do you mean? im going to run 285\65-18's and i think i am going to need trimming but what exactly is trimming the fender? and what materials do you need to do this?

Check out these pictures... Sorry I don't have before pictures, but just compare these to your truck and you'll see what I'm talking about.
