Nice. My GF and I are probably adopting a German Shorthaired Pointer within the year. Hoping to upland and waterfowl hunt.

This evening sucked so bad I'm drinking a Paulaner Salvator out of necessity.

Getting blamed for some code failure on code that I didn't write and takes over 6 hours to debug. I left the process running at 5PM and it's still going.

Tried getting back into a workout. I need to lose 40 lbs.

Had to go to Tacoma mall. Pouring rain on the drive up.

Mall is OK. Parking is hell and driving out of there is like driving during black Friday.

Ate at subway. Remembered I was trying to lose 40 lbs. Eating sucks.

Noticed I had a headlight out.
Tried the off-chance that Sears would carry a bulb. Counter lady said auto parts was closed. Waited for her to say "... but [insert auto parts store name here] is just up the road", but she just stands there with a blank stare chomping her gum.

Can't find a auto parts dealer close to the mall. Got pissed trying to figure out how to spell O'rielly's on the GPS (why the fuck isn't it called Shucks??? I could go for Kragen even!)

Drove through a red light getting out of the mall. It wasn't that it had just turned, it was like 30 seconds of red. Yeah, I'm the tard rolling through the intersection.

Poured rain on the way home. Can't see lanes worth anything. Great day to forget the glasses.

first time replacing front bulbs in this truck. Can't see crap in the dark. Can't find my flashlight. Can't figure out how to get the wire thingy released. Can't fix in Autozone parking lot in the rain.

got bulbs all fixed (thank you trouble light, thank you bed-mounted inverter plug, thank you car port)

Remembered all my socks were wet because the dryer didn't dry them fully. Laundry room is closed this time of night so can't dry (I will never rent a place that doesn't have an in-unit washer/dryer, even if the place is super cheap). Time to go drive out and buy dry socks.

Had a Chevy Aveo try to challenge me on the way back home. WTF.

Just got more news about my truck. Myself and a large group of TW members might be interested in a group buy for a R&P soon if my source is correct about why I get popping noises. Approximate cost is $1,000.

Also due for the 50k service, which I have neither the expertise, tools, or work area to do. Noticed there were some key pieces of the 45k I should have looked at.

Feeling drunk after 1 pint of beer. WTF... oh well. Home and dry.

Alright I have more male PMS problems.

So I've never corrected my headlight aim since lifting, and I get flashed a ton. It would also be nice to see better.

I know how the basic mechanics of correcting it, it's simple. Drive close to a wall, put tape in the rigt spots, drive back, correct.

    Trouble is, I don't have a wall.

Any of you have a solution? I'm about to feel real dumb asking the mechanic to do it when I take the truck in.

    First off Mike. *HUG*

Second, aiming lights. Just leave em how they are. I get flashed all thebtime, and I usually just say to myself...D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. :D

But, if youbreally want to aim them. Roll over to a store or mall in the evening and use one of their walls lol

Pretty much just put a mark on the wall at about 30-36" back up about 15-20ft and use a 10mm socket to turn the bolt in the back of the housing.

What is the R&P group buy... I've never heard of it before.

Sorry about your shitty day man.

    Thanks all.

I'm going to try K-Mart's wall some time since they are getting axed. Lol, my earliest memory of K-Mart is my mom telling me we couldn't eat at their food court because we'd catch something and get sick. Moms do know best, I haven't seen food in a K-mart in over 25 years.

R&P = Rack and Pinion. There's a guy who claims my popping noises might be the same as his - a failing R&P and tie rod ends. I'm going to get things figured out better with my shop guy, but who knows if that's what's up.

Gonna stay up late watching Shrek 3 for the first time. Oh yeah, I'm one tough G.

Mike! At least we know you're a cheap date :) 1 pint and you're gone!! Sorry you had a crappy day man. My driver side bulb went out on me the other week and I replaced both bulbs..that metal spring CAN be tricky if it's your first time dealing with it. I haven't adjusted my headlight and it sucks driving on wet roads sometimes when it's dark..can't see the lines for shit!

Oh also I found out what was wrong with my camera  I didn't re-adjust the dioptric knob..now it's clear as days!

EDIT K-Mart..I remember they used to have Little Ceasars in there..used to get their ICEE slurpy all the time when I was younger.

WOOT TO 10,000+ post in just a little over a year!!

I thought of a solution with the King Shocks. You pa full price. And since you don't want them hanging around your garage, I will test the fronts out for a couple months. To see if I like them. If after a couple of months I like them, then we can talk on price.

    Deal?

I have a 22r that needs to get out of my garage. $50 and I'll deliver. It ran but burned a lot of oil when I took it out. Anyone need it or know someone who does?
