Opinions on this SAS Tacoma on Coilovers......

Debating on buying this tacoma and just wondering what you guys think its worth and what not or if I should stay away.

Looks sick. 106k miles seems suuuper low for a 97 (my 99 has 220). tempting for sure. i def wouldn't buy a stranger's SAS without inspecting the living shit out of every detail, but if you scope it really thoroughly and it really has that few miles...

 

I like it, I like it alot & sounds like seller is motivated to negotiate price soooo..? Not sure being a single cab is going to help his sale but looks like a nice trail rig ... 9K may be a little high, maybe not tho'


Now if it was this truck, I'd def. jump on it...

 

That truck does not get 20 MPG, I dont care if jesus say's it himself. It seems to be a good deal with the SC and all. But who did his fabrication work for the SAS? Biggest concern...

 

Ask to see pics of the other 80% of the truck first.

 

like the truck. not a fan of the supercharger, but thats just me. I had a reg. cab and beat the crap out of it--never left me stranded. SAS's are getting more common with these older tacomas, I'd grill him on the SAS to see how much knowledge he has on it compared to yours, and see what components he used and who helped him..i think u may have a nice truck there.
