If my 2 cents are worth anything:

    1. I didn't regear and being a dad with 3 kids I don't get to see Off Road as much as I use too. My truck runs like a beast with the stock gears. I've had it off road (with my 33's) and I ran into no problems getting into some real neat shit.

    2. Don't let the Cab Mount chop scare you. Like I said before, my truck is my 4th child and I take care of it better than I take care of myself. Buy the plates from JLee @ B.A.M.F. and find someone who is good at metal work.

I don't know man....we all drive different but I love how mine runs even with the 35's. Take off is a little laggy but it works for me. It GOES!!!

Wait until you get yer truck back then you can decide.

I have 35s and no chopping what so ever needed other than the plastic. The BFG KM2s are great tires that don't rub like the Nittros will. And I put a URD intake along with a URD MAF calibrator and it took that "lag" away. No need to spend 1-2k on regear. I really don't see a need to regear unless I were to start doing some pretty serious offloading.

    No prob.

For now - no. I'm going to run for a few months as is because the cab chop worked amazing. Maybe in the future I will get another 2 inches under it.

Yeah it depends on the LUGS on the tires for alot of the rubbing issues. The Graps lugs will definitely rub just like my Fierce do. I trimmed some plastic also.

AND - I have the AFE CAI in mine also with a Flowmaster so that might make a teeny bit of take off difference.

the intake was 289.00 plus shipping and the calibrator was 210 plus shipping. Even if you dont have a URD intake most of the guys are running the calibrator. And the URD is a true cold air intake and is dyno tested to give you more HP.

I have flowmaster as well. And yea most 35s will rub, but the BFG KM2s dont rub at all if you have removed the plastic. I like the AFE as well. Do you have the URD calibrator?

    http://www.urdusa.com/p1260198051/URD-MAF-Sensor-Calibrator/product_info.html

highly recommend it. Its really the only "chip" or performance chip you can add to this truck.

    some of the benefits:

    • Optimizing the fuel mixture for best power on stock or modified engines
    • Correcting MAF Sensor error caused by aftermarket intake systems
    • Remapping the fuel curve to compensate for high flow headers, exhaust systems, and cams
    • Optimizing the fuel mixture for best power
    • Retuning the ECU for larger then stock fuel injectors
    • Retuning for increased boost levels
