so what happened to the desert to big bear thread? it disappeared...

did you guys straight cancel it?

 

Aaron deleted the thread Bc ppl were being retarded and complaining. A small group of guys are going that are 4x4 and staying in arrowhead now.

 

nah no one was being retarded, it just sucked that it could have snowed any fucking day of this month and they chose the one day I spent over a month planning and preparing for.

There was too much cross information and confusion as to whats happening, are we going, are we not, are we camping, staying in cabin, watching the race, going to lucerne, going to mojave road, etc., so I deleted the thread.

If anyone wants to do the no pavement run, you organize it. Im done. I just wanna wheel and not have to compromise for everyone.

Luckily, there were some people that are equipped to wheel in the mountains and able to continue the trail into Big Bear.

 

oh ok...

yah, those big type of runs are hard to manage...

back in the CustomTacos and TTORA desert days, we would have anywhere from 10 to 20 trucks on a run and it was a handful to manage...

it's easier now to just post up a definitive run and whoever wants to go, goes, and leave it at that...

 

So are you guys just going to post up and watch or are you chasing???

 

hopefully posting up... only need to chase if we anticipate problems...

we are going to pick a spot, then Johnnie is going to set up his EZ up and we will chill there...

if anything, James and/or my truck will leave from time to time as needed for chasing, but we will always return back to wherever we set up camp with Johnnie...

 

Ok Im down for this, mike can you pm me your number, all I have is my cb and it's not tuned or anything. But 5am at the mcdonalds of Sierra on the 15?

 

I'm thinking about taking firewood so we stay warm. what do you think mike?

 

Robert, there's another group of us that are meeting at MC Donald's in the cajon pass just past cleghorn at 9am. we'll meet up with Mike when we get up there.
