1st Taco

Hey Everyone, I recently purchased my 07 double cab speedway blue taco 4x2 2 weeks ago and finally joined. Ive been already reading up on this site for about a month now. I live in OC, CA.

ahhhhh the ol' speedway blue... I LOVE THAT COLOR!!!! when the 05 body style came out i wanted one, then i when i seen speedway blue i pooped myself 3 times!!!

when me and the misses went to actually buy, i told her i would go to every dealer in houston, i wanted nothing but an access cab speedway blue, the sales person said let me show this truck, and brought out my black one!!! i was torn and bought it..... i love my truck but dam that is an awesome blue!!!!!

what i'm tryin to say is congrats!

 

I heard some one say earlier, black is not a color, it's a commitment. Truer words have not been spoken, I love Black on cars and trucks but won't get it because of the constant maintenance it requires to keep it looking good. I applaud your efforts Jackson.

 

I've been wanting a Tacoma for a few years now, just couldn't afford it before. My cousin had a 98 Tacoma that he purchased brand new and he put on 580,000 miles on it. I should have taken a picture of his odometer before he sold his taco. He had the original motor + tranny. I was sold on a Taco after that. I love the looks and the reliability. I have never been able to say I love my car/truck until now. Maybe because its my 1st brand new car ever or maybe its just because Tacomas rock.

 

Thats funny because I went to the dealer with the intention of purchasing a black double cab, but they pulled out 2 speedway blues. They had deals going on because they were the last 2 07s left. With the deal that I got, I had to go ahead and get it. Speedway blue or white was pretty much my 2nd choice.
