Looks like mold. Maybe a steamer would work to get it off. Them put some of that good ol' Aero 303.

Magic Erasers do not work. Got some dirt off but they are still spotty.

Anyone know if the trim is metal coated with something or just plastic?

    Good god that is a beautiful...wave :)

If magic erasers didn't work...i'd try some goo be gone spray. I use that stuff alot and it seems to work magic sometimes.

All else fails...I would Plasti dip (derp) it...seriously I love plasti dip. /fanboy

Bed lined the rear bumper caps, LED lights in the interior, rear bed LEDs, red letter glove box inserts, center console coin box, set of Wildpeaks from my 2014 Tacoma that I traded in and removed the factory running boards.
dont use purple power. Its to harsh for the application you need. It looks like some tree sap amd mold. simple greemn and a light scrubrush.
