I go 75 every day. Im only on stock gears, so if its flat or downhill ill run in 5th just fine. but as soon as i get a decent sized hill it has to drop into 4th or 3rd if its a really big hill. I cant really use my cruise because it will stay in 4th or 3rd all the time. and burn all kinds of gas. I usually get 15-17 going 75-80 on the freeway with stock gears.

ohh and im an Auto trans

If I could afford gears I would do it in a heart beat but their pricy. I don't go offload that much and I'm always on the freeway so I would get 4.56s. Running 4.88s you will be at or above 3k RPMs at 75-80 mpg. Which will kill your MPGs.

See thats what has me confused. The guy recommended me to get 4.88 then he said that may be to much. I dunno what im gonna do. I may end up keeping them and ordering the new bearings.

Most mechanics don't even know what we have stock in our trucks. I had 3 different mechanics tell me I was running 4.10s stock and so they all reccomended 4.88s as well. But we are running 3.73s. If you drive on the freeway that much 4.88s are Overkill. Trust the people who actually have these gears.

It's either 4.10, 4.56, or 4.88s. So based on what you have said and how you go on the freeway and don't go offroadin that much I would get 4.56s over 4.88s every day.
