Need Gas tank!

    Westin Ultimate chrome bull bar, 6" off road light(2), husky toolbox, cobra cb and 102" whip.
    well i took my truck to a muffler shop to weld a muffler on and my engine light cut on not too long after. Took it to the dealership and they said the guy burnt a hole in my gas tank and he was suprised it didnt blow up on me. So they quoted me 1000 for a new tank. Anyone know where i could get one cheaper?

    I think the muffler shop owes you a new gas tank.

    This is why I cant stand to let people do shit to my truck. People always screw up an easy job.

    Back to the muffler shop with estimate for new tank ... talk to the manager/supervisor ... remember, EVERYONE has a supervisor ... don't rant, rave, and holler .... stay calm ... they can dismiss someone yelling at them as being out of control ... they have a difficult time with "cool and calm" ... this should be a none issue.

    I always tell them in a calm, soft spoken voice (with a slight smile on my face), "Treat me well and I will tell 30 people, treat me poorly and I will tell 100."

    I could see a hole in the spare tire, but the gas tank is on opposite side of the muffler. How big of a job was done on your exhaust?

    Yep, the beauty of small claims, its probably only a $60 filing fee. Check with you local court, its easy to file, I have done it before on tenants who wont pay rent. Most of the time they wont even show up, and by not showing up(small claims court), you win! Judgement plaintiff! :)
