Someone did the led light bar there. I thought it looked pretty sweet. And he showed night shots, and it was very functional.

i mean if i had a skewp i would throw an l.e.d bar in there but since i'll be law enforcement one day, i would put a duel red and blue l.e.d bar in there instead

Don't they make ones that do blue/red/white? I thought I seen someone on here post a pic of it. You wouldn't be using your personal vehicle though, would you?

yeah they make them, i've seen them. I would like to do something like S.W.A.T or some kind of special operations like that. But it depends on the departments policies, so i'm just planning on adding a few things like that to it. plus a supercharged taco police truck would be SSWWEEETTT!! :D

yeah i know here the Columbia the county's sheriff deputys are allowed to have lights on their personal vehicles just in case a mass shooting or something major happens and they need all hands on deck.
i remember about a month ago a deputy got shot and a manhunt ensued. they called everyone in and while i was on the way to work i saw this beat up ol' dodge ram with l.e.d lights and i was like "damn, my truck will be way better than that." hahahaha

edit: county deputies in my area are not allowed to run lights on their personal vehicles

Just a bunch of old crap
Liquid Image is rolling out with the Ego, their answer for the GoPro. Fully functional/mountable 1080p camera with all the bells and whistles, plus one more.. its own IP address so you can find it with your tablet/smartphone just like a hotspot.

I was thinking of drilling a hole and mounting something like this behind the metal mesh in my scoop for getting some good off-road footage. It would be nice to have the camera under the hood, wired to my a/v input in my Kenwood, but controlled by my smartphone so I could press the record button without having to get out and pop the hood.

I ditched mine. I didn't care for the look. If it was functional I would be able to live with it. Good riddance it's gone. Looks cleaner too.
