    Thanks man. I've been running an AAL with the OME lift. I wish I had some Dakars (might be putting that on my wish list). I've been quite happy with the ride quality both on and off road. Night and day compared to the stock suspension that was on it. I felt much more comfortable even in turns with the OME kit and no sway bar than I did with stock suspension with the sway bar.
    For the year that the truck was stock (with the exception of the lift) I honestly so no noticeable settling. I am kinda disappointed with how much the rear OME shocks limit flex. You can see that the leaf packs and stock shackles are nowhere near where they could be. I'll be switching to longer billies soon.

    Ah cool thanks, makes me feel better about the AAL. Im planning on getting the toytec ultimate lift, adjustabily seems nice, although the OME kit is nicely priced. So anyways I was planning on getting some allpro 1.5" shackles to go with the 2" AAL. But from looking at your truck looks like it sits nice with just the AAL. Does it sit pretty level? (opps I took another look at your pics and yes looks pretty level) I take it you dont have any clearance issues? Im also planning on running 33's well, 33x10.5. So im thinking I wont even need the shackle. Althouhg I have the 97 and I believe the leaf springs are a bit different, so that might be a diff question to answer.
    I hear ya on the Full pack Id like to go that route, but they are pricey and I can always do that down the road. Thanks Again

    I thought it busted. I thought the gearing jammed/broke the lever so I couldn't free spool. Couldn't get the lever to budge for anything. Pulled it apart later and found out the spring/detent for the lever had a little rust on it. Little bit of anti-sieze and it was fine. :facepalm:

    ETA: Just saw your other post. Check the solenoid for loose wires too. When I got the winch, I could retract the line, but it wouldn't spool out. I opened the solenoid and there was a wire just sitting there. Plugged it back in and it was good to go.

    Gotcha I think mine just did the same thing, I can't get the lever to go to free spool so its stuck on engaged

    Edit it spools in and out fine I just can't free spool it out which is sorta a pain

    You probably don't even have to pull it apart. The detent sits right underneath the lever. Try some WD40 or something first.

    Small update today. The skid plate was mounted to the OEM crossmember and was hanging too low, IMO. I was picking up some parts from Addicted Offroad so I asked about getting it relocated. They got it remounted to the crossmember for the bumper, looks a lot better! Props to Scotty & crew for the help.:D

    I feel like trying something different. Plus I've heard good things about them in general and reportedly they do better in ice and snow than KM2s... which wouldn't surprise me.:rolleyes:

    It sure is, i like it a ton more and gained a little approach angle to :D
    I like how yours is actually set up into the crossmember but not how the bumper hangs downbelow the crossmember for some reason :confused:
