Exactly, the last thing that Toyota wants to do is piss off the loyal Toyota truck owners.

I'm pretty sure it is also inaccurate.

See tigerfan00's post. I believe his post is accurate at this point.

Actually its completely accurate on the KBB excellent condition plus 50%. I got 9240.00 for my 96 Tacoma SX 4X4 regular cab cylinder 5 speed with 327.899 miles plus another 1 k for buying another Toyota and 2k for buying an 08 instead of an 09. Traded in an 05 VW GLI paid sales tax and walked with a brand new truck with no lien.

doubtful in arkansas unless yall use a lot of road salt there...

you more than likely wont see the rust as its rotting from the inside out...but i believe they test it near the spring hangers as 1 spot

If you got the letter, it doesnt' really matter what state you're in. I'd take it in and get it checked. You got the letter...for some reason, your truck (VIN) was chosen to get the letter.

i'd suspect that they do a VIN list of trucks who started their life in a heavy salt use area...much like janster said...so if you get a letter...go have your frame checked
