I figured none of us would want to run above a 2 anyways. I know I don't want to damage my new baby up too bad yet! It also says that anything above a 2 requires 33's, lockers, winch, body armor etc.... I'm just ready to get on the trails!!! :mudding::mudding:

Parker, you need to venture out to the GAP soon. They've got some new rocks you'd enjoy.

I sent him the drawing that had the outline of the state with the tire tracks across it. I think most everybody liked that one.

Well I still haven't come up with what my replacement will be, but the original engine is now out. I went ahead and started stripping down the body as well. Since the truck is going to be down for a while, I think I am going to go ahead and hit her with some fresh paint. I have the colour in mind, but still have to locate it and get the clear coat as well as primer. Lots of body work to do and TONS of sanding. Here is what she looks like now.

Highly recommend Richard Stubbs of Stubbs Welding. He turned a set around and had them to me really quickly. They're beefy, and the welding work is impeccable.

You have to be a bit more daring with your truck to need sliders.

Sliders make me feel more daring. Skids will turn it up even more. I'm not a fan of need it, not have it, damage it, fix it, then have it. I like the idea of have it, use it.

Put my wheels and tires on today. Jacked my 5100's up to 2.5", along with the 4" spindles. Gives me about 6 1/2" of lift. Finished to late to get an alignment. That will happen tomorrow.

Had to do more plastic cutting and a bit of metal from the rear of the front fender wells. It's clearing right now, but i have a feeling that the CMC is in my near future if i plan to run offroad.

Hope to install my new headlights and fog lights this week sometime. Just waiting on the bi-xenon HID kit, and the fog light HID kit to get here. Purchased a full set of smoked headlights and smoked fog lights.

ehhhh. The 3's probably arent that bad. We should at least check them out. With sliders and a locker and some sort of offroad tire it should be fine.

I will as soon as i get my gears. Saw Mason's pictures on facebook and it looked like fun.

Just SAS while your at it :D

    bahahahaha.

Good decision, then think about a locker and you would have a nice setup.

I agree. One of my buddies got a set for his FJ. They looked great and were really beefy. He had nothing but good things to say about the place.

Me to :D Just wait until you are all armored up.... I like to try it all.
