i am not a hunter but respect those who eat what they kill. they claim to have given the "game" to locals, but i wouldn't bet my life on it. i outgrew killing animals with a projectile, from a safe distance, a long time ago. these two are cockbags, plain and simple. :crapstorm:

It's not hard to shoot an elephant, they're huge. Killing one is a different story...

Also, I'd be willing to bet they do give the game to locals. They probably have a local guide and I doubt he'd just let all that meat just rot away.

seriously, that's your response? in deference to your opinion, how can such be considered even "hunting" by any reasonable means. don't get me wrong, i'm no PETA member, nor vegetarian, but these two douchnozzles give hunters a bad name.

lol and I bet your right. people just dont go wandering around in africa hunting without a guide. The meat is either donated to locals or can be freezer packed and shipped back to the home country (very expensive).

Meh. Got some good meat and the mounts are just a bonus. the beef and chicken you get at the super market arent killed any more humanley

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.

You are basing this off of a story on the morning headlines for Yahoo! I would be willing to bet that this, much like mearly every story in the news these days, left out all of the details that tell the whole story and instead paint a picture of what is shocking to the general public.

As far as I am concerned this is a non-story, if it weren't Trumps kids, we would never have heard about it. If there is a bigger issue, address that, not the Trump boys.

"wrong" is perhaps not the appropriate word. but seriously, posing with the tail of an ELEPHANT one has just killed? WTF? you hire some guide to drive-up to the creature, and shoot it while it's what, ambling, nearby? then pose with the tail afterward...........the very definition of douchebaggery...........

How is it different from every picture you see with a fisherman holding up a big ass salmon he just snagged? Who knows, it might actually be a local custom. I think you're being way to quick to judge now knowing all the facts. Like said above, if it weren't Trump's kids, this never would have been a story. Just the media starting a crapstorm...

I have zero problem with hunting , except for strictly trophy hunting

When we shoot bucks (me, brother in law, father in law, uncles) the first thing we do, if it's a buck, is cut it's dick and nuts off, then toss them up in a tree and say "The double breasted nut hatches are perching early this year" then drink a beer.

We eat the meat, keep the horns, it's just something we do, maybe that's him with his elephant tail.

Hunting is an honost way to acquire food for the table. Trophy hunting is weird in my opinion. I have no desire to kill things though, and furthermore fail to understand why someone would deire to. I love wild animals, and peronally prefer tracking to photograph, as opposed to kill. Killing an animal for it's mount is akin to killing a human for it's scalp IMO. Why many feel we can sacrifice all life to the soil if it isn't human is beyond me. I will shoot a deer for food. Not for fun.

it's a little hard not to discern the difference between a fisherman casting a blind line into waters and coming up with a prized salmon, versus hiring a guide to locate an ELEPHANT for one to kill. have read this story on multiple sites. frankly, i make a disconnection with the fact that it's Trumps boys (though even he's against it), it's the practice of trophy hunting, in this manner, that is reprehensible, IMHO.

It is, it is quoted of Trump in the article, but no one wants to dive deepr into that custom because that is not the issue they are pressing.

Whoa, I never said that, the internet is 99.999999999999999999% factual at all times, it is those damn 0.000000000000000001% that ruin it for the rest of the internet.

I went to school for promises of a truthful interent. I work hard for a living to make the interent a place of facts/truth/accuracy. I eat breakfast for dinner sometimes. I am the 99.999999999999999999%
