so due to needing more space for my son, i sold the tacoma and got a 94 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4 with only 112k miles on it. honestly i sold the tacoma a couple weeks ago but ive been soooo bummed about it i couldnt say it to you guys. :( tacomaworld is awesome and was very helpful with my ownership and figuring problems, along with great laughs at work on the funny pic thread!!! and i plan on having another tacoma once ive finished school and can afford to get a nice double cab so dont hate on me too much lol

i am a big jeep fan, no worries. i've had one cherokee and 4 wranglers. unfortunately, my experience with the cherokee was not as good as with the wranglers. hope you have good luck with it, i think i would consider a good aftermarket warranty with a grand cherokee with over 100K on it.

Grand or Cherokee? I've had two Cherokee's (XJ) and the only reason I have a Taco is because I totaled my last XJ... :(

To the OP, good luck and curious why you got a GC when XJ's are far more reliable (fewer electronics).

Good luck, and if you have a 4.0, swap that crappy ChryCo tranny for an AW4 from an XJ. You'll thank me for it!

regular cherokee, not a grand :) it was a long time ago but i had tranny issues and electronics bugs that never seemed to go away. that being said, i do like the new GC's, seem very high rent.

That is WEIRD? Where they the 4.0 or the Chevy 2.8? Man, my first XJ is on it's 4th owner with 200K miles and still going strong!
