No problem. We cut a hole in the IFS skid for the oil drain.

Wats a ball park for shipping to san Diego for the front skid? And also it.was hard to see but is the front skid fo back to the first cross member or is that another skid? Last of all are these made to accommodate the sway bar?

PM me your zip and I'll check shipping for you. The front skid goes from the front crossmember under the radiator back to the rear crossmember for the IFS suspension (basically where the motor and trans meet). Then the transmission skid picks up and goes to the transmission crossmember, where the t-case skid starts and runs back.

I'm amazed there aren't more takers on these.

Ive had mine for about 2 years and they have saved my truck more times then I can count...be it from rocks or from massive amounts of water and mud getting jammed in my engine bay.

Best heavy duty skids available on the market IMHO.

Which one of these would block access to stealing the cats off my 08 reg cab prerunner 2.7? That would be my primary function of considering the purchase of one of these. Can't really tell if it would be the transfer case or transmission skid that would block it on my truck & I guess it would also require getting a factory transfer case skid and it being able to just be bolted up first even tho just prerunner....which I'm guessing it might or should unless it bolts directly to the transfer case itself instead of or in addition to just the frame.

OP has pics in 1st post.

Just an FYI - You need to modify your Y pipe for these skids. They don't work with stock Y pipes.

Transmission and t-case together block access. They may be able to cut the exhaust pipe, but they won't be able to get the cat out from behind the skids.

And I would *love* to see someone retarded enough to try and cut these skids with a sawzall.

Well I don't have alot of time underneath a 2.7 but if any of the skids are going to cover the cat's it would be the transmission skid, however in order to run it you need the IFS skid since the front of it bolts to that.

No need to fool with the exhaust on a 4cyl since they don't have a crossover pipe to deal with. :D
