I'm getting them from wheelers so it's either icon or saw lol I'm ordering UCA's while im at it :D
What about these ones? From the picture it seems like they have red coils. But I'm not sure what button youre talking about. Do these look like 2nd generation saws

Same thing happened to me when I made a trip to advance auto to buy some new belts. Woman ended up giving me three of the wrong size belt, gave me a dumb look when I compared my old belts to the new ones and told her the sizes were not labeled correctly. She refused to go back and check to see if the right ones were in stock.

Long story short I only go to advanceauto anymore for generic parts.

    Took the truck camping.
Gotta love Florida winters - 80s during the day, 60s at night. Spent the day on the water fishing, kayaking and boating.

I like roll bars (it shows my age  - some consider them a thing of the past, a.k.a. 80's style). I would like to get one.
I have not been able to find one for my truck. Rhino makes them for the regular and extended cabs, but not the double cabs.

i love the look. My dad had a T100 when he was my age with a roll bar and sold the truck to a friend. well we found the truck on the guys farm stripped down nothing but the body and the roll bar! so were gona go get it and fix her up :D

with the double cab i know not many people make them for the double cab but most extended cabs will fit. dont take my word on that and order one. but if you find a local bar its worth seeing if it fits the truck.

I've had mine since 2009 on the double cab with the added weight and haven't had any sagging issues.

The 700# coils can at times feel a bit rough compared to how my truck rode stock. When i put my bumper on with the stock setup the ride was extremely splashy, it felt like i couldn't even drive it straight down the road it sucked that bad.

There is some give and take with selecting your coils, and i wanted a nice tight ride compared to a soft and splashy feeling one. It certainly doesn't feel like a Lexus, but i like the ride.

I bought mine directly from Camburg, they are just SAW's. I'm not sure exactly how they are affiliated but they're the same thing the guy told me when i bought them. I actually picked them up at their warehouse in So-Cal when i was visiting my BIL.

The day i put them on. Made a few changes to the truck since then, but it's funny seeing them all shiny like that.

We are getting dumped on right now, with about 10 inches of fresh snow so far and it is still coming down. Went out on my daily commute to campus and counted 18 different vehicles in the ditch along the highway. That is in about a 3 mile section of the highway. Tacoma FTW

With the double cab the front legs sit on the wheel wells and the rear legs are longer to go to the bed floor behind the wheel wells. On the longer beds the front legs are longer to go to the floor in front of the wheel wells, and the rear legs usually sits on the wheel wells. I have been thinking about getting a regular one and modifying it, but that will be a lot of cutting and welding the whole thing.

yeah, i guess the people i know that have them cut and rewelded.. that would make sense cause they are both mechanics. i might modify mine so i can fit my fourwheeler between the bars. and put a light mount on the top. and if i do that get the old school kc smiley face covers

boerseun, i have just the extd cab but what you could do like im doing is do just the bar that follows the shape of the cab.

I got a bar from my buddy for free (i helped him move) and i cut the two arms off now i just gotta get 5in taken out of the height and make it a little wider but i only want one to run lights across the cab. if you know someone who can weld or if you can weld do a custom one

Yes, I will probably have to basically make one. I can weld, but I do not have a welder at the moment. I do have friends where I can do it, now it is just finding time... I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to manufacturing, so if I do it I will need time to do it right.

I bought from Northwest Offroad in Feb 2010. Not sure what they cost now, but I piad about $100 less than what wheelers is charging now.

    http://www.northwestoffroad.com/parts/tacomasuspen.php

As you can see from the pics at the NWOR website, they show the red coils too. So when I got mine it was like wft. I asked around here about the differences between what I got and what is shown in the pics. I was told to be glad they came with Eibach coils. That there had been issues and SAW had redesigned the CO and used new Eibach coils.

Here are some pics of mine.
