What kind of work did you do to the rear suspension?

Yes, they are Treadwright guard dogs. Just put them on yesterday. They are a bit noisy, but I kinda like the growling sound they mAke. 4.88 gears will soon be installed, so no worries about power.

The rear suspension is currently RCD 4.5 5100's which are amazing! 2"aal and 2" block, soon to be replaced by a 4 - 5" leaf pack. Haven't decided which one yet.

I was getting 23 - 26 mpg with 33's, I'm expecting around 20mpg with 35's. But like I said, only installed them yesterday, haven't had a chance to check the mpg's.

I'm the guy who takes off slowly from a red light turned green. You know, that ass hole who stops up traffic, because I don't want to floor my truck to take off the same speed as everyone else.

Driving like an old lady has it's benefits.

OR.... and just throwing this out there

Perhaps bad math is how you're getting those numbers. I'm pretty light on the peddle and can get 20 at the most. Now my route to work is an in-between of City/Highway, but even if it was just highway those are still pretty strong numbers.

He already said it. 2.7L. You can't compare the V6 MPGs to a 4 Cylinders.

My driving is 90% freeway. Also, 2.7l vs your 4.0l.

I'll actually be installing my 4.88's this weekend. I have been driving with stock gears and 35's for two days now. It's only a 2 mile trip to work, but still. I thought it would be worse then this. I do have to downshift into 4th for hills, but i'm pretty surprised. I have no doubt that the 4.88's will make driving with 35's a cake walk. Surely not the power of stock tires, but it isn't near as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
