I see a lot of trucks with extra lights but they are all clear or white, does anybody run amber lights ? It really gets foggy where i live and I know they help around here.

I dont have fog lights but I`m pretty sure the clear/white ones are supposed to work better...mounted as low as possible. There have been a few days over the last couple of weeks I wish I had some, couldn`t see more than about 15-20 feet in front on my way to work 43 miles..I felt car sick by the time I got there.

Well after seeing prices for bulbs and lights, I might add another set to the front, the rub is how to mount them, maybe bull bars, maybe a complete brush guard set up. I actually have a brand new set of Hella lights I have never used, so maybe swap out the bulbs ? Maybe find that film you were speaking of, Piercedtigers thread on cheap mods really got me thinking. :D

Tacomaman, I think lamin-x.com makes stuff to go over the lenses.

You might be able to hit up Autozone, Pepboys, etc and find the same size bulb in yellow. I don't know since I haven't looked into it. I had to replace one of my fogs and it was only around $10 for the bulb. Don't remember if they had yellow or not.

Yellow is supposed to increase visibility. Something about 1 single color for the eyes to focus on. That's why a lot of shooting goggles are yellow, and "driving" glasses are yellow.

Other than that, you can get a light bar instead of a bumper or bull bar. They run between $150 and $200 I think. Summittracing had one for around $150. Or you might be able to fab one up. I started working on one myself, but then stopped when I decided I would eventually get a winch bumper.

Hey spencer-hong, I'm on the market to change-upgrade my fog and head lights, I now know the fog lights are 9145/H10 but just to make sure and confirm H4 will be the one to replace the OEM headlights? Is there any cable or special connector that goes with the H4 bulb?

    Thanks for your info.
    Regards.

No all you need to buy is the bulb, I'd stay away from those Kryptons they have too, they advertise that they are stronger, but its practically the same bulb for $15 more. Headlights are H4's, Fogs are H10's. You don't need any cables or anything, all the bulbs just pop out with a few clips.
