My doctor is a huge F1 fan and went to the Canadian Gp last year. He said he was super cool, down to earth kid(specifically said kid) who is living the dream. Talking about F1 with him while he was burning the shit out of the inside of my nose made the pain almost go away.

So I just finished the Brazilian Grand Prix 2011. Thanks for the tips guys, it was fun and I can say without a doubt. I'm hooked. I haven't been able to follow many lines stories from this year tho ..

What are some of the major story lines heading into 2012? Red Bull, Vettel, still expected to dominate? Anyone closing the gap constructor wise?

Hard to know till the first couple races are run , they can make huge performance advances during the season .

Friday practice from Australia is on Speed on Thursday night

Usually no one can tell till the 4th race because the teams use those for practice. At that point they know if the car is a winner or a flop. It's rare now to see a team come back from failure these days. Good example is to wiki Braun racing. Their first year was crap so they stopped development and put everything into next years car and beat all the big dogs.

And didn't they only exist for one year , after buying Honda's program ?

Yes. Then Mercedes GP bought Brawn GP for 2010 season. Ross Brawn is still team principal.

Edit: Mercedes AMG Petronas is what they are these days.

he means honda stopped working on the 08 car in hopes of having a good 2009 car, their program had the plug pulled at the end of the year and brawn took the opportunity taking the team and all the development which was done in 2008 by honda.

on another note, i had the opportunity to test out a race simulator, pretty impresive!

Mostly on Speed but some times on Fox. Be careful when it's on Fox because when they broadcast there is no preshow they start at the drop of the lights.
