    sounds like a u joint or loose bolts at the flange? maybe even a center support bearing if you have one?

    i kept the pack stock.. added a add a leaf later because i bent them running with no bump stops lol made hangers out of square tube cut at a 45 deg angle drilled a hole and walllllaaaaa lol. protects the leaf from rocks and acts like a slider... but not really too much lower than the stock position.. and for the shackle its about a 6" that i made temp but some how havent got around to change them out.... also so long because i bent the arc out of them from the whole not having bump stop thing lol

    hahahah yeah right.... iv blown mine up about 3 times in a month pulling people out lol to this day mine is blown up because i dont feel like paying $300 for a new one...

    Actually, I'm pretty sure he's got a Woody drive shaft... :rolleyes: Which means no carrier bearing FTW. :cool:
    Oh, ok nice. And good info on the hangers! :D I was thinking about getting these, http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/63FLSH.html but I think I'll just make them like you made yourse. Sounds a lot tougher and doesn't expose the end of the leaf pack so much. I'll have to play around with different shackles sizes when I actually get my springs I guess..... I'm going for about 4" of lift in the rear.

    Well, thats just one of the things I need to buy, I just had to buy a new battery for it too! and I need tires for 3 of my other cars too! if anybody has some used 265-70 or 75-16s let me know. or something that will fit a stock 2000 4 runner, let me know. the rest of the cars have 14" tires, so thats not too bad.
