I got some oem fender flares that were painted white but I want them black, how do I remove the old paint, is there some kind of paint remover for plastic or should I just sand it
    Thanks

I would personally just repaint them. Removing the paint may cause damage and even if it doesnt, factory flares fade quickly.

On a side note, I heard that soaking plastic parts in brake fluid will remove paint without destroying the plastic. Never tried it myself though.

Ditto. Sand, primer, and paint. I used semi-gloss black and it turned out great.

I would advise against this. Taking off the flares twice sucks especially if you break the tabs. Do it right the first time, see above.

Yeah I have to sand them a lot because of paint drips, that's why I wanted a paint remover to make it easy

Paint thinner or lacquer thinner? not sure if that would hurt the fiberglass
