    Seller's Ad:
Dunlop Radial Mud Rover 31x10.5 R15
Two of these tires have 1/2 tread the other two probably have 1/4 tread left.
They came off a Toyota truck. Not 100% sure but I think they will fit on a
chevy. The rims are six lug. Asking $200.00 OBO
    http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/DunlopRadialMudRover.htm (Tire Reviews)

    Other info he gave:
    - He doesn't know what brand wheels, all it says is 4x4
    - Only TWO (2) of the wheels have center caps, because 2 were on solid axle??
    - Seller is a 1 1/2 hour drive away (one-way)

These are the same size as my Michelin LTX A/T on stock 15" wheels.

In the future I plan to lift 3", if i got these it would be okay to run these 15" wheels and just get bigger tires, correct?

Do you guys think this is worth the drive and money for the amount of tread that's left? Yes? No?

Should I make an offer? What's the lowest I can offer?

Oh! And does anyone have any clue what wheels these are? The seller doesn't know.

I could use all the help I can get. Thanks in advance! :D

A decent sample of what they'd look like on my truck:

The tread left on my Michelin LTX A/T:

IF the rims aren't screwed up, and you like em, thats not a bad deal... BUT why such a large difference in tread? Patched or plugged before? One of my coworkers has those on her Silverado, they aren't that good on ice/snow but good offroad obviously :)

Another thing to check is the year and week code of when the tires were made.

Personally I would get new/newer tires that were evenly worn or new, previous experience has taught me otherwise.

I ran the Mud Rovers on my old F-150. Decent off-road traction but very soft sidewall and the tread life was the worst I've ever seen on an off-road tire. Save up your money and buy a good set of new.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I'd buy them just for the rims.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Thanks for that link. Should be a sticky so it doesn't get lost. I just checked my tires that I bought in the fall and they are new. Made in 2011. I would have been irate if they were older that a year when I bought them.

    Thanks again.
