http://www.pasturegolf.com/bear.htm the only golf course where it is perfectly acceptable to use a four wheeler as a cart, and carry a sidearm to shoot ground squirrels along the way. The unofficial rule is one beer per hole FYI.

"Cowlitz County has been hit with a rash of bizarre metal thefts over several years, including theft of bronze cemetery vases, power pole ground wires and catalytic converters. Law enforcement officials say stealing metal to convert into quick cash has become a part of the drug culture."

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
If referring to the felines...yes definitely funny, bizarre, and sad cuz I like cats (I picture a meth'd out cat-lady thief)

If referring to the excavating equipment...no, not funny.

There's a course in Salem where you can aim for the chickens... wasn't exactly smiled upon, but it was the back hole.

That's nothing new. A regular part of my GF's dad's job for Century Link is going out to replace sections of copper wire that has been stolen.

They even have to hire security guards for the area until they can replace the wire and get it adequately covered and protected again.

So where do you guys get pets around here? I went to the humane society but they charge an arm and a leg. I'd take one home with me but I can't afford what they're asking. :(

I've been scoping Craigslist every now and then, I guess I'm just not getting lucky with finding the right one. :(

I would just wait till you have the money for a Humane Society pup. I tend to avoid pet stores like the plague just because of the whole puppy mill issue and surrounding issues.
