LOL I can relate. I brought an iPod3 for my wife as a birthday present. It is to be delivered tomorrow as well.

What cover did you finally end up purchasing? There are a lot of nice covers out there for the Tacoma. A lot nicer than a snap on cover I had on a 79 Dodge D50. :anonymous:

Well here is a quick pick of the headlight trim ring all painted up.

This next pic is the reflector bowl with the projectors mounted back in the headlight housing. I am thinking of putting this assembly in the Tacoma and aligning the headlights. If I am too far off with the rotation it will not be a super PITA to fix properly.

You old people need to have little bells and id tags around your necks, so you don't get too far away from your home. Just dealt with one who thought she was in Louisiana and was screaming at me to take her home. She told me that it was my job to know where she lived. :(

Did she offer to buy if you stopped by Duncan on the way to her home?

It would be the least she could do. :D

morning all: just got done "TRYING" to post what I did to the boat, on tinboats.net. when I tried to download the pics., it said file size too big. :notsure: something I got to figure out again, but I'll get there. :smash:
alot of the stuff I did, and the way I did it, is different from how the others added the mods. to their jon boats.
I should post a pic. of our river anchor. my buddy designed it. it looks like a pyramid and weighs 18#. seems to be a really good anchor for the river. I never saw an anchor like this, all I know is that it works.

Is tinboats.net getting the photo from your computer or a site like Photobucket. Photobucket auto resizes for posting on forums. If it is from your computer you may have to resize the photo file using Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

photos are from file in computer. what it's doing, I think, is downloading the whole file. I only want 1 pic at a time, to add to each post. I can do it here but can't seem to do it there, YET!!!

    Carl:
Each picture is 1 file. Most likley a .jpg file. That file needs to be resized smaller using the MS application.

Sorry I'm a day late here...the paperwork wasn't in the glove box...found it in my "files" on the shelf above my work bench in the garage.

I think I broke the code:
    I have kit #2407 applicable to 2005 thru 2011 4x4 or PreRunner 4x2.

The kit #2410 is for a 4x2 (Non-PreRunner); which makes sense because the PreRunner is (basically) a 4x4 suspension on a 4x2 truck; in very simple terms. I'm sure some on here could explain the differences more dramatically; but that's my explanation.

These are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs.

In the best words of Ralphie from A Christmas Story.....Fuuuuuudge!!!

Working on the trailer hitch - have to remove two bolts from the frame - the one on the right side is frozen and started to strip. I guess I'll have to take it to the garage to get them to loosen it for me, then replace it.

The process is easy if the bolts aren't frozen. I got the left side off with a little time and WD40. Not so lucky with the right.
