    from the side yeah, the back was solid covering the tailgate...looked like it might have folded down into a platform of some sort. it was about 6" thick, my pics dont do justice to whatever the hell it was and how beastly it looked

    Using an impact to "put" nuts on is stupied...the risk of cross threading is full of derp.

    next time you can tell your buddys how to do it right. Lazy ass mechanics do shit like they are doing....and I'm doubtful a torque wrench was used...let alone that they knew what it should be torqued to.
