Do you have any PB Blaster? That usually works well. Be careful not to allow WD40 to contact paint. It can cause paint to discolor.

I also like to mix 50/50 ATF and brake fluid. Do not allow to touch paint it will eat the paint off a vehicle.

Nah, don't have any handy. I put everything away - the bolt is on the frame by the rear spring mount so I wasn't close to any paint.

At this point, I think the head of the bolt is worn so I'll need somebody with better tools and expertise to work it out.

    Crap.

    :( Bummer "6"... [IMG]
ATB & Brake Fluid...never heard of that before  ... is it better than PB Blaster, or works as well, or just a good sub when you don't have PB Blaster on hand?

Probably the right call "6" ... before it's too messed up and requires extreme measures. Like Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations..." Good luck!

Hi, Larry! Pull up a rocking chair. There are a few of us who are rapidly approaching the big 60 here.

    good to know

although the average age here seems much younger...however, I will say, most here seem more respectful than many I have encountered on other forums with a much older average age group.

give me hope for the next crop of leadership in our country.

The average age on TW is much younger. But, the over 60 group , and we who they tolerate, are a good group.

And, as you noted, the majority of the folks on all of TW are not too bad.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
Thanks Rob...I appreciate it. Kit number duly noted. The rear spring TSB is being done next week and then I just have to wait for good weather 'cause it looks like I'll be doing the airbag install outside.
I have a weather sensitive project in the garage that has priority. Priority means that I better get it out of the garage like I told my wife I would. :D

    Rob:

Works just as well but it is less expensive. You really have to be careful because of the brake fluid will strip the paint off of any panel it comes in contact with

You're very welcome, Bob. I'm familiar with that "Priority" system. ;)

Hey, when you get around to the install, if you want me to take a few pictures of them installed, I can. The install wasn't hard, my best friend and I did it in about 3 hours. You might not need the pics...but the offer is open if you want. --Rob

Thanks Tom...BTW, my switches arrived yesterday afternoon. Need to stop by Radio Shack and NAPA for the other misc relays/diode/add-a-circuit today. My son and I plan to wire it all up Sunday afternoon! Thanks again for the lead on switches too!

Hope all are off to and indeed have a great weekend. :oldglory: --Rob
