    A small handful of select mods.
    Now that they have redone the road on the pass this trail starts off with a nice ledge for about 100 yards in the beginning. So as long as that is passable you should be fine. It does have a good incline so coming down might be an issue.

    so we're leaning toward mcclellan mountain with a backup plan of cascade creek...

    mcclellan's trail is not as much of a steep ascent as i remember cascade being...plus there's less possibilities of sliding dangerously off the trail, just maybe into a tree :D...then if we make it up top, there is tons of area and trails to mess around in and try to get stuck

    if the snow is too much on mcclellan, then we'll shoot back to idaho springs and check out those trails..
