I love military planes from WWII - something about the looks of them and the idea of what a huge part they played in the war

SBD Dauntless (my grandpa flew these :) )

A girl after my own heart!!! There used to be a staggerwing fly into the airfield I manage part time. Sadly he sold it, and went and bought a Fairchild F-24G... Lucky bugger. Beautiful plane.

From time to time, if I behave myself, I'm allowed to fly these... A lot of fun, can't wait to get more time and get a job flying these over the summer.

    :D We have good taste!

I dug up a few pics from some events. The MAAA (Montana Antique Aircraft Association) puts on fly-ins around the state every summer. They usually get a good turn out and just last year started sponsoring a race. I didn't know about it ahead of time but happened to be driving along the race route and had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road

Spartan NC17616 - this plane was owned by Howard Hughes for a brief time
Stinson NC79158 - I just like it, even the pumpkin orange color

Oh I love the Stinson SR-9... One of those bad boys is flown into the airfield pretty regularly during the summer.

If I were to buy a high wing radial engines plane, I'd get the Cessna 195. Such a cool plane!
