    Some places here are pushing 9.80 / gal. But it really depends where you are at, in the anchorage area/ matsu valley. Is roughly 3.80 to upwards of 4.08 on regular depending where you stop. The "bush" areas can only get their fuel delivered by barge to them During the summer months as there are no roads to get there. It's crazy really. They barge millions of gallons to last the long ass winter months.

    I saw regular unleaded in central Utah a few weeks ago for $2.99/gal. In northern California we're paying about $4.30/gal.

    California has some of the highest gas taxes in the USA, but terrible roads. I've driven in most of the western US states, western Canada, Australia, & New Zealand and California has the worst roads by far. Our public transportation isn't so good either.
