I used to think they were the same, but when I was selling some steps a while back I was told they are actually different. :notsure:

I wouldn't mind hearing it from another member since I personally haven't looked at the mounting points on a long bed to see if they are actually different.

I was reading a thread last week (I think) and from what I remember, the last mounting hole at the back of the step is different. The guy said it was an easy fix and he even ran it for a little while without the last bracket attached.

Of course now that I think about it, I think he was mounting AC steps to a DC.

Just forget this whole post

Interesting. Those look nearly identical to my N-Fabs steps with the exception that they are "unbranded." I'm almost positive they are made by the same manufacturer. And about that last bolt, I am running mine without the last bolt attached. It's stil being held on by at least 6 bolts that do mount perfectly so it's not going anywhere. Notice the blank space on the steps, that's where they put the N-Fab logo.

I have never seen these on any truck at my dealer. I need to find a part number and see if I can order these.

    Great Info!!

I was unaware Toyota made these. My 10 has pre-made thread holes under the truck to instal these. It was Super easy.......i did mine by myself 2 days after breaking my 1st rib snowboarding, I just couldn't wait to get em on when I saw em. As painful as it was i was psyched when they were on!!
