Discount Tire on Ebay is offering a $100 rebate on select tires and wheels. It seems that the prices on their Ebay site are marked up a few dollars but you still end up on top with the $100 rebate.

    Rebate form: http://dtdoutlet.com/Rebates/DTD_Ebay_100_Fulfillment_0316-0325.pdf

    Discount Tire on Ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/Discount-Tire-Direct

I just purchased 4 new Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 265/75/16 for $615 shipped. Factor in the $100 rebate, and the total is $515, which is $65 less than the price on Discount Tire.com.

^You can also go to any Discount brick and mortar store and they'll match the price.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. At least they told me they wouldn't match web sites like Ebay, Amazon or even their own Discount Tire Direct. I found the best price with free shipping on Amazon on my tires and they wouldn't match it. DTD did beat it by a $1 each. So I wound up buying from them and took them to DT to have them mounted.

Whenever I buy from a tire store, I just say "I can either buy it from someone else, or you can beat the price and I will give you my business."
I have never paid the asking price at a brick and mortar store that way.

I know they will come off of their prices. But they would not match Amazon for me. They told me they would not match a "bidding website". Bought them from DTD and took them to the same brick and mortar and dealt with the same guy. He asked me did I get them from Amazon, to which I told him no DTD. He didn't care and acted like it was no big deal to him. Still treated me very nicely and all. You would think it would have been in his best interest to sell them to me rather than this. But he told me he couldn't touch the price. DTD told me that I was getting them at cost so I guess he didn't have room to deal. :notsure:

Anyway I can't complain since he was still very nice. I was kinda leery of taking them back there but it didn't matter. I was still treated as any other customer.

I've never in my life paid for any tire at a Discount Tire brick and mortar store for what their asking price was. All of them have the ability to negotiate, how much always depending on the margin of that particular tire. They even put it in their marketing slogans that they will not be undersold. As long as you use common sense and try and match either another brick and mortar place with rebates and discounts, or a reputable company that sells online, they are almost always willing to work to get your business. They would rather loose say 10%-15% by discounting than the entire sale or you as a possible customer.
