    Hello,

I am looking these days to buy my first Tacoma ever. Got very excited !
I have found to my local Toyota dealer an interresting used Tacoma.

    2010 Tacoma Double Cab SR5 V6

The truck has 50500 KM (31400 Miles). I'm not sure about this point. Do you believe it is a lot of millage for a 2 years truck?

Exterior and interor are clean. No sratch, no accident, anything. I will a road test next week to make sure if eveything is fine.

You guys have any advice for me ? What to check? Does this year model has any known issues ? Is it a good choice ?

Every comments or suggestions you give me are welcome !

    Thank you

The milage is a tad higher than normal, only by a few thousand kilometres. Do you know why it was returned? Lease back? The only thing that I could say is look for rust under the truck. I don't think that there would be really any problem with the truck being at 50k. Your problem I would think is the price that the dealership is charging you.

at that mileage I wouldn't worry about it...one thing I always tell people to do if they buy used truck is check under frame in crevices to see if there are chunks of dirt (dried up mud) scratches under the frame sometimes you can tell if used off-road or on the street...just something to keep in mind :)

It might be kinda high mileage for the year model, not for a Toyota though. ;) Welcome and good luck!

    Automatic transmission.

They ask 26 500$ (canadian dollars). I think it is negotiable.

Check the Kelly Black Book(Canadian). Also go and look on Autotrader.ca and see what they are going for. You know, same options, around the same kilometres etc.

I wasn't sure if it was going to work since that it was a search that I had done, not you. Well I am glad it helps. Most of them that I seen in the search was a double cab. There is one that says, "it's AWD". There is not one that is AWD, so just be aware lol.

There use to be something on there, I don't know if it's there now though. You can put in the year, make, model of the vehicle and it can get you an accurate amount on how much it could sell for.

Try to get other options if you can.

The end of the month is often a good time to get what you need, some dealers have selling bonus by Toyota.

    Qc, ca. What city ?
