Well we are supposed to pick it up in 48 hours. A Frontier Pro4X with luxury package. I have to say it makes my TRD Offroad look bad. It seems to have everything my truck has plus power leather seats, a factory sunroof, bedlinered metal bed, and metal utility track system.

Is there anything I have on my truck she does not? There is plenty she has that I don't.

Don't worry. Your truck will be around long after that thing is in the scrap yard.

Toyota doesn't need all extras to make their trucks sell.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
I'll give the Frontier the metal bed and their approach to the bed rack mount system. Both are better than Yota's, imo......which leads me to believe that Nissan is looking to take away those Taco buyers turned off by the plastic bed. And yeah, I wish Yota offered a factory sunroof.

    BUT!

It's still a Nissan. And the Tacoma is, well, a Tacoma. 'Nuff sed.

I just bought my new Tacoma on February 10, 2012. It was down to a Frontier and Tacoma Doublecab. I was looking at the same one your girlfriend was looking at. It was super nice and I fell in love with it but I decided to go with the Tacoma for a couple of reasons. 1) Toyota has better resale value. 2) The materials used in the interior of the Frontier is inferior to the Tacoma. 3) I wanted a 4 banger (gas mileage) and the Frontier does not offer it as an option. 4) I like the way a Tacoma rides high (Prerunner). I'm sure I would have been happy with the Frontier and the price I was going to pay for it was several thousands of dollars cheaper than the Tacoma but the deciding factor for me was the 4 banger because of gas prices. No matter how nice the truck, is it doesn't matter if I can't afford to drive it.

I think they look pretty good.... Look sick lifted, but the aftermarket sucks for those trucks. I've seen a couple moded Frontiers where I live and I admit they are pretty nice. Tacoma is still nicer :D

The one thing Frontier's have that I wish Tacoma offered is 4 wheel disc brakes, other than that I'll take my yota anyday over a frontier!

I think Nissan makes a comparable product to Toyota. I have had a couple of Nissans and they were great cars.
I've also been very happy with Toyota and I too compared both and obviously chose the Tacoma. For me it was the fold flat rear seats in my 08 Access cab that was the deciding factor.
I tow quite a bit and am personally glad we have drum brakes as I have never not had enough rear braking, as far as after market, I agree Toyota has alot more, but mine is 99% stock so it's not really a factor.

I'm sure your girlfriend will enjoy all the options that she has.

Why would a girl wanna drive a truck ? She needs a Rogue or a RAV4.

IMO the interior is the only thing nicer on the Frontier, way nicer, Toyota takes all the rest of the categories.
