all my brackets are doing quite poor haha. buy ive only dropped down to spot 4 in my best right now so im not mad. . . still, the points in these upcoming rounds are really the only ones that matter. so with duke and missouri already being out, it's gonna hurt.

 

and now this Louisville vs New Mexico game is gonna screw me up even more

so are about all of mine. hell im in the lead right now and i don't even care. NC State made it to the sweet 16.

that's all that matters to this guy. . . oh and duke went out in the first round

 

this purdue game could further kill my brackets. they are just shooting the lights out.

 

darn you Flordia State. i had so much hope for you in this tournament.

 

One gone from elite 8. One gone from final 4. Damn you florida state, I was so looking forward to a rematch of FSU and UNC (with Carolina winning this time of course ). My West bracket is still looking pretty good, with my only major hiccup being picking Memphis over MSU

It goes against my pick of Kansas in the midwest, but I'm kinda hoping to see a UNC NC State elite 8 matchup.

 

in my best bracket final 4 intact (SU, KY, NC, LVL), 7/8 elite 8 intact, and 12 left in the sweet sixteen. i like where i sit. of course, it can and probably will go to hell in a handbasket - that's just how this tourney goes.

i have syracuse taking it all. i think that is a longshot now with fab melo out, but hey, his freshman replacement has been stepping up. i also think NC is in serious trouble with kendall marshall fracturing his wrist. will they be able to step up without him? hrmmm.

fantastic tournament so far.

 

that is going to be very interesting. as an NC State fan we're all saying the stars are aligning haha. we've knocked out SDSU, Georgetown, kansas struggled A LOT with purdue last night and pulled that win out of their ass. now the heels are in trouble with their injury so maybe if we beat kansas we would only have to played an injured tar holes or a much easier (on paper) ohio.

but either way, you said it, it's been a great tournament.

 

Duke going out in the first round made it great all by itself

i think that was perhaps the most enjoyable game i watched so far. i went to a college in the patriot league so i was pulling for lehigh (even though i didn't go there). really great to see an underdog like that stick it to a creme de la creme.

 

Yeah even though it pained me to watch George Mason (local school here in NoVA) beat UNC in 2006, it was cool to see a mid major go all the way to the Final 4. I believe that year they had to go through Michigan State, UNC, and UCONN as well as another team to get there. They lost to the eventual champions, Florida.

 

well the 'Cuse pulled it out in a nailbiter over Wisconsin. and LVL spanked Michigan State. two more picks that held together for me. i have LVL making it to the final 4.

CUtacomatiger is a mere 10 points ahead of me in 1st place. fortunately his missouri pick in the final 4 is out. and no way is OS going to beat the 'Cuse, if they win tonite. muhahahahaha.

yeah he's doing damn good. my lead is gone and i don't foresee it returning at any point through the tournament. but like ive said, if NC State keeps on winning, i couldn't care less about my bracket. go pack!!

 

I picked marquette over florida now two of my final four are out.
