Hey guys I did a search but couldn't find anything specific to the inner-grill.
I finished my Satoshi grill this weekend. Didn't have any problems it just took a loong time cutting/bondoing/sanding.

I sanded the inner-grill surround and painted with satin-black Krylon Fusion, four coats about 20 mins apart. Now that everything has dried I can still see areas that were sanded. It doesn't look bad from afar but up close you can see it.

Should I sand everything back down and use a filler primer? Then paint?

I can get some pics if that'll help.

I just finished my satoshi this weekend. I had the same problem you had. The filler primer took care of it. If that doesnt work, try some more sanding :D
