    Does this tire size compromise braking distance? Can you run them with stock rims?

    255/85 KM2s really do kick ass in the snow.

    As I said before, I got to the top of a mountain in my tacoma with 255/85 KM2s (siped though) that my buddy in VERY nice winters, 35" geolandars on a 2500 dodge couldnt make.

    And siped takes care of their weakness which is ice. I really like em.

    Probably. That size is 3 inches smaller diameter than 255/85R16, which makes it smaller than the stock 2nd gen tires.

    IDK I can't say I know anyone running them and I can't picture what it would look like.
    If you want 255s go back to a 16" rim and get 255/85/16s IMO

    No pinstripes on mine. The DCLB did scrape his front bumper and fender flare (don't know if it will buff out or not yet).

    I don't know about braking distancs, haven't panic stopped with them or the stock Dungflops.
    Stock tires are ether 245s or 265s.
    Mine are on 1st Gen TRD ORs (which have less back space so they stick out a little farther).

    stero system, couple subs, dwreck sliders, shackel flip, long travel air bags, h.i.d.'s, and some other cool stuff
    so what is the minimun lift to clear the 255/85/16 if i were to trim the front bumper a little , would a cab mount chop help? i really dont want to go a full 3" lift but love the look of tall and skinny, and will be going km2's anyways,

    thanks and sorry if i missed it somewere already, scaned through all 11 pages and did not really see the answer i was looking for
