Anyone ever install bolt on N Fab sliders?

    Just ordered them and should b here tomorrow. Im wanting to find out if I'm going to need help or if this is sum that I can do alone. Thanks in advance.

    They are not sliders , period .

    They are steps that bolt into the factory running board mounting locations in the underside of the cab floor .

    Sliders are bolted or welded to the frame and can support the weight of the truck .

    Nfabs most certainly will not .

    Edit : your " Rock Rail " link is most likely just like the Avid bolt on " sliders " that are steps that look like sliders but bolt to the factory running board locations

    I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
    Just an FYI, If you're looking for bolt on sliders that will actually work like a slider check out CBI or Demello. There's a pic of CBI bolt on sliders being used as a recovery point for a high lift jack right on the first page of the sliders sticky in 2nd gen. I think only $20 more than Nfab.

    Yeah I called N Fab these are supposed to be pretty durable and not flex. Im not getting the N Fab steps, FYI. I got a co worker with a JK who bought these. I went with this rock rail cause of potential problems with warranty after welding to my frame if anything should ever happen. Maybe OZ is under the impression that Im getting the steps. Wrong!

    These are high up against the vehicle and you can get steps that are removable so when you do jit the trail. I got the steps too. I guarantee those nerf bar/steps would bust or bend when they hit sum.

    Besides, I asked if anyone had ever installed these! Weirdos, I already considered all my options. I went with these cause of my friends first hand experience, option to add steps, they come finished and are thick enough to withstand a better beating vs the nerf bars.
