good call on breaking up bud, you'll be better in the long run. And she's calling to test the waters to see if your her puppy ... see if your emotionally distraught, etc... if she has the power.

Also, you guys went out for a while... there is routine so she's not used to you being around. Not talking to her makes life easier for both of you....

cheers to you man plenty of guys haven't been that strong (myself included )
Hate the saying and you have heard it multiple times in the thread..
plenty of fish in the sea and since your in college its like fishing with dynamite

I wasn't emotionally distraught when I answered the phone, she was friendly, I had a normal tone and then after i said there's no test, i said bye and hung up.

Uhh.... I thought this forum was about Tacoma's? Maybe I didn't read the fine print...

Ditch her and get over it. Focus on your Tacoma, it'll get you laid many more times.

In all seriousness, taking a break is almost always a terrible idea.

You should move on. You shouldn't date somebody who is already annoyed by you after only 6 months of dating. It's probably not you, and she just wants her space and to be single. I'd ditch her and start working on getting over it. It'll be rough since it's your first girlfriend, but time heals all wounds.

    Good luck brah

Move on! When she calls just be monotone. Show her you don't give a shit-and actually DON'T GIVE A SHIT.

Get out there and find another. Other than that-what was your age? I seem to have missed that.....

first heart break sucks, you live and learn, shes treating you like shit, your now the backup plan.

my honey tells retarded corny jokes all the time, they still make me giggle just cause they are retarded. when i get stressed out and have problems hes the first one i call, not take it out on and push away cause "im stressed out" thats what your SO is there for, they are the friend you go to when you have problems and need to talk it out with someone. you two are on seperate pages, be glad it happened now and not a couple years down the road.

she sounds pretty selfish too from some of the things you said, she might be an awesome girl, but shes not so awesome at thinking of others feelings and putting someone else first.

being friends with her will not work, it will only make it harder on you, you need to cut her out. dont worry, she was only your first gf, 99% of the time you never stay with your first love, it will be ok. :D
