Are you talking about the side airbags?

If so, it's not common Pre-2009 I believe. Mine doesn't have em. Side Front Torso and Curtain airbags became standard in 2009+

Look for a Side Airbag patch on the side of the seat, towards the top to know if you have side airbags or not.

You can also see Side Airbag badging on the A-Pillars and B-Pillars.

Only an hour at chop shop speed :spy:

These trucks are made of plastic so I only had to remove (8) front seat bolts, (4) rear seat bolts, and (4) center consul bolts....the rest are shitty plastic clips

Not standard in my '09. I got the curtain and the steering wheel.

Would I have that airbag tag on the side of the seat? I haven't taken the seat covers off since the 4th day I had the truck but I would swear they weren't there. Now I gotta take them off.

So, it certainly looks stupid as I sit here and type, but what am I looking for other than that tag? Is there a seam that would give it away? Never had anything with an airbag any place other than in the steering wheel.

Is this standard on both sides, passenger and driver?

The manual says you "may" have them. In fact, I remember looking for them when I put the seat cover on and was pretty satisfied they weren't there. I'm checking this out right in the parking lot after work.

OP just needs to run a stop sign and see if they go off when he gets hit. They no go boom - no airbags...

Check your sticker on the door. My truck is sold as an "08" but the sticker says it was made in late 2007.

Woo hoo! I got me some airbags! TW rules. Turns out the seat covers are airbag approved though, so maybe thats why I don't remember them. I gotta pay more attention to stuff. I would have never known they were there unless they went off.
