If you dont like gas prices don't drive a vechical that gets less than 20mpg. If you use you truck for work that's different but just for a daily driver either pay the price or get something more fuel efficient. Oil production is up in the US so for the time being it is what it is.

I find it funny that gas prices go up, yet there is not shortage on gas. The us has actually started exporting crude. Not the mention the strait of hormuz will never be blocked, it's just all political crap to cause speculation which drive up the price per barrel of crude.

There's a little more to it than that, although I do agree to some extent.

When the rebels where fighting in Libya, that country only produced like less than 6% of crude nothing even significant or enough to make a dent, but everyone got scared and drove the price up.

They'll find a buyer, hell other counties already own like half of America. Thats what happens when anyone can purchase rights, and stocks to multinational companies. My local water rights are owned by a German company I believe.

us gov have 100% tax on foreign oil. what do we use? foreign oil. its not rocket science. gas company don't make the price we pay, our government does. us also got bad gas, i've been to 3rd world countries that got better gas than us.

also i dont understand why our gov dont allow diesels. diesels oversea usually get around 50-80 mpg, and what do we have? freaking hybrids that get 30-40. not to mention that the lithium they get to make hybrid cars is highly destructive. they stripe mine the crap outta the earth, you know how bad that is for the environmen. that's why i laugh at people who drive Prius or other hybrids.

Mercedes also offer US their clean diesel technology FOR FREE!!! and what did we do? reject the idea and build out own diesel that still use old technology and runs like crap. not to mention how crap our diesel is. its pretty hard to fuck up diesel, diesel is cheap and you dont even have to refine it. yet still our government trying to add their secret technology to make regular diesel into #2 diesel that runs like crap and cost 3 times as much as they should. okay rant over for now
