    This thread is just to say thanks to all the guys in here who helped me with deciding which handgun to get. Thank you guys so much. I felt very well prepared throughout the process. It is nice to be able to ask questions without feeling like an idiot!

    I filled out the paperwork today for my glock 17. I have a 10 day wait. It will be a long 10 days!

    The sales guy told me that i was very well prepared (documentation, safe handling demonstration etc.) which was nice to hear. I will post a pic when I pick it up- even though a g17 is pretty unimpressive, and everyone has seen it :p

    Thats the best part of Kansass, I can go buy a gun and walk away with it that day :)

    But, I do miss the west coast and hope to be back VERY soon.

    I just sold (yes, dirty word) my XDm .45. Kept my Ruger SR9C. Figured I would keep a gun that was a bit easier for my conceal. I will be getting a glock one of these days though. First, build up the truck :)

    Great choice. And great Gun as well. I own a G19 and a G35. Sold a Sig P220 for my G35 and dont regret it at all. I have not been happy with Sig at all for the way it performs for me. My Glock just seems to fit me better and looking at getting the G34 soon.

    Start stocking up on some ammo while you wait. That will help Pass the time by.
    AIM surplus has had some good prices on ammo.
