moved my CB antenna so i can move my tool box up closer to the truck, so that my fourwheeler fits in the back with the tailgate up. let me know what you think the tool box has not been moved yet just the antenna. should i put the antenna in the middle?

if i really wanted to i could make it so i can take it on and off but there would be like an inch bolt sticking out of the roof. but i figured eh what the heck i snowboard and surf and go on a lot of kayak trips. so ill just leave them on. im suppose the be getting a roll bar, so i hope that its the same hight as the rack so i can have that as like an extension

That'd look pretty cool. How much do the boards hang?

Like do you mount them back more towards our bed or can you see them hang over the front?

well i have a 6'4 and a 6'3 so they dont hang but a little over a foot either way. but i think my moms friend and boyfriend are getting long boards this summer so we will find out how those sit up there. will probably hang all the way to my hood. and tailgate!

I think the general consensus is being in the middle gives you a better ground plain.

I have not installed a CB yet, but from what I read on here and of general CB antenna info in general, the middle means more of the roof as the plain=better signal.

Someone correct me if I am wrong

Oh and I meant to ask, do yo have some sort of grip tape on your passenger side rear fender flare? Towards the front and bottom of the Fender flare. I saw someone else on here with a similiar dark patch and wondered what it is.
